UN Reports No Aid Theft in Gaza After Ceasefire

The United Nations confirmed that since the implementation of the ceasefire agreement to stop the fire between Israel and Hamas in Gaza, no reports have returned regarding the exposure of humanitarian convoys to theft. The spokesperson for the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs "OCHA", Jens Laerke, stated that during the first days of the entry of humanitarian aid, no reports were received regarding incidents of theft or attacks against workers in the humanitarian field.

In his statement to reporters in Geneva, Laerke said: "In the first two days of the start of distributing humanitarian aid, we did not receive any reports regarding incidents of theft or attacks against workers in the humanitarian field." These statements come in the context of strengthening humanitarian efforts in the Gaza sector following the establishment of a ceasefire agreement between the two parties.
