Antonio Guterres, the Secretary-General of the United Nations, spoke before the Council on Human Rights in Geneva on Monday.
Guterres emphasized the importance of protecting human rights and supporting international cooperation to address global problems. He also highlighted the necessity of supporting vaccination efforts worldwide to combat the COVID-19 pandemic.
"We must ensure equal access to vaccines for all people, regardless of their social or economic status," Guterres emphasized.
The UN Secretary-General also noted the importance of respecting women's rights and creating equal opportunities for all.
