Switzerland is hosting an international conference on March 7, addressing the status of civilians in occupied Palestinian territories, following a UN General Assembly request.

According to the statement of the representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, a conference on high contracts with a fourth Geneva Convention will be held on March 7 in Geneva.

According to the department's announcement, Switzerland has invited to the international conference on March 7 on the issue of civilian population in the occupied territories of Palestine by Israeli forces, based on the resolution of the General Assembly of the UN. Switzerland has invited 196 countries that signed the Geneva Convention to participate in the conference.

"The request has been submitted to the General Assembly of the UN," the official representative of the department emphasized.

In September of last year, the General Assembly presented this mission.
