Other UPS executives also received high salaries. For example, Harry Moore earned a total of 6.5 million dollars.
It is noted that Ermotti received additional bonuses for successfully managing the company during the Covid-19 pandemic. It is worth mentioning that UPS is one of the largest postal and logistics companies in the world.
This triggered a wave of discontent among critics, considering the complex economic situation and a number of layoffs that occurred in the company. At the same time, UPS representatives noted that the salary of the general director correlates with the company's performance and market activities.
"We believe in transparency and accountability to our stakeholders, so our payment policy is regularly reviewed by independent evaluators," the company noted.
