Following the end of her tenure as Minister of Defense of Switzerland, the Head of the Department stated that the country's security remains one of the most important issues during her time in office. "We faced various challenges, and there is a need to strengthen our defense capabilities," she added.
She explained that the country must make significant efforts to guarantee its neutrality and protect its territory. "We must constantly develop our armed forces and monitor their condition to be ready for any threats," she emphasized.
"The world does not stand still, which is why we must actively work on strengthening our defense mechanisms," she noted. The Head of the Department also expressed gratitude to all military personnel for their service and readiness to sacrifice their lives to ensure the country's security.
"I am proud that I worked in this position, and I am confident that Switzerland will continue to strengthen its defense capabilities and remain a neutral country, ready for any challenges," she concluded.
