Former UEFA president Michel Platini, who filed a complaint for defamation and insult against three former members of FIFA, confirmed on Monday his intention to «not tolerate the people who have harmed me». After being finally acquitted by a Swiss court in August 2025 following ten years of legal proceedings in a fraud case that hastened his downfall, the former captain of the French national team filed a lawsuit at the end of November against three former officials of the international federation. Platini said during an interview on Monday evening on «RMC» radio in the «After Foot» program: «This is the first step, there will be others». He added: «I will not let the people who have harmed me get away with it».
